We, TeamM2, are a company that provides you with the best information about visiting Japan, where you can experience Japanese traditional culture, climate, food, various nature activities and real Japanese daily life.

It is aimed directly at Japan fans, especially those from Europe, the USA, Australia and other parts of the West, and introduces the attractions of various regions of Japan in a variety of ways.

We have only just launched, but if you follow the JAPAN BOX social media, we can offer a wide range of "special" information on various attractions throughout Japan.

We, the JAPAN BOX editorial team (part of TeamM2, Inc.), will be working with DMOs※ (Destination Marketing Organizations) around Japan to bring unique local information of each region to Japan fans overseas.

※In travel and tourism terms, DMO stands for Destination Marketing Organization. They represent destinations and help to develop their long-term travel and tourism strategy.

For the visitor, DMOs serve as a gateway to a destination. They offer the most current information about a destination’s attractions. About us

TeamM2, Inc.

Established in 1999, we are a planning-based production company with offices right next to Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward. The company is mainly involved in inbound tourism promotion around Japan, e-learning content production and live streaming specializing in content for businesses (e.g., company information sessions for employee recruitment, shareholder meetings, book reader events, etc.).

HYPERJAPAN

We are currently focusing on our cooperation with CROSS MEDIA LTD. based in London, UK. CROSS MEDIA LTD. has been organizing HYPERJAPAN, a real Japan exhibition in London since 2010.

It is the UK's largest event dedicated to Japanese culture, showcasing the diverse aspects of Japan today, including manga, anime, music, fashion, food, traditional culture, games and technology.

In 2017 we only covered the event, but in 2019 we exhibited the 'JAPAN FURUSATO BOX by TeamM2, Inc.'.

We had a booth where we rented out Yukata(kimono for summer) and offered a virtual composite photo service that made it look as if you were taking a photo at a tourist attraction in Japan. It was a great success and many visitors enjoyed it. We also held a fashion show of Yukata and a performance of Japanese traditional dance at the 'Japan culture show'.

In 2021, due to the spread of COVID-19 infection, it will not be possible to hold a real exhibition so it will be held online. We will once again have a virtual booth here as "JAPAN BOX". Where working with local authorities and DMO's will introduce all the attractions of Japan's major tourist destinations, especially Tottori Prefecture and Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, which are less well known to the British public.
